Mesotherapy involves superficial injections of vitamins and medication into the mesoderm layer of the skin. The benefit of mesotherapy rather than the use of topical creams or facial products, is the fact it is injected into the mesoderm layer, meaning through the 'skin barrier', allowing it to have effect. Unlike topical products, mesotherapy rejuvenates the skin from the inside, promoting cellular turnover.
It can promote the production of collagen and elastin, which we lose as we age, creating our skin to look 'saggy' and lose volume. Mesotherapy facials are great for making the skin look firmer, tighter, glowing and hydrated. We use different 'cocktails' of treatment depending on clients needs, vitamin C is a popular choice for meso facials and the 'mesoglow' treatment. The different options will be discussed during your initial consultation. We recommend 3-4 mesh facials to complete treatment, and then one every 2-3 months to maintain results. Different vitamins can be added each time, depending on your skin's needs.

- We use two methods for mesotherapy, the mesogun & injections. The mesogun is most commonly used for facials as it covers a larger area in less time.

Mesotherapy can be used to dissolve excess fat and stubborn cellulite, by injecting natural substances into the targeted areas, to dissolve stubborn fat pockets which are hard to remove with exercise. This treatment has proven to be highly affecting when injected into areas such as the abdomen, hips, thighs and arms. Mesotherapy fat dissolving can also improve the overall appearance of the skin, improve texture and stretch marks.

-Slight discomfort whilst injecting.
-Possible bruising & swelling to treated site for up to 10 days post treatment, we advise to plan in advance of holidays/special occasions etc.
-It is essential you consume plenty of fluids after treatment & consume a low carb diet for the 3 days following the injections.
-It is essential to massage treated area a few times a day for a week after treatment.
-We will measure chosen area before and then again 2 weeks after treatment.

Mesotherapy can be used for hair re-growth, and to prevent hair loss in both men and women. Results from medical studies show that mesotherapy has a 60% chance of re growth compared to minoxidil which is the medication used in topical products for hair loss. To prevent hair loss, mesotherapy works by injecting medication into the epidermis layer of the skin, through the 'skin barrier' where it can take effect, delivering nutrients, balancing hormones around the hair follicles and stimulates blood circulation, to encourage the hair to keep growing.

We use the mesopen for scalp hair, and usually inject into the beard area. Beard alopecia and patches of hair loss in the beard are common, mesotherapy can target those areas to promote re growth and minimize the chances of hair loss reoccurring.
Mesotherapy will cause slight discomfort, however treatment lasts for 10-15 minutes depending on the area being treated. 8 sessions are usually recommended for all clients with hair loss or to prevent hair loss, these sessions will be over 6-12 months. We have found hair loss generally stops after the 2nd-3rd session & hair begins to grow back after 2-3 months.
